NEW YORK — Three-time defending US Open males’s doubles champions Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury have been eradicated within the third spherical by the Thirteenth-seeded American duo of Nathaniel Lammons and Jackson Withrow 7-6 (3), 6-3 on Monday.
Ram, who’s from the U.S., and Salisbury, who’s from Britain, had received 20 consecutive matches collectively at Flushing Meadows. They have been seeded third this 12 months.
A 12 months in the past, they grew to become the primary males to win three US Open doubles titles in a row since Individuals Tom Bundy and Maurice McLoughlin from 1912-14.
