After a carefully contested first spherical, Ricci delivered a vicious elbow proper to Ribas’ eye socket within the second stanza that despatched Ribas crashing to the canvas. Just a few ground-and-pound strikes later, the referee was pressured to step in and convey a cease to the bout.

With the win, Ricci climbs again into the win column and improves her general document to 12-3. It was her first end since March 2023.
