Rybakina beats Pegula to move into WTA Finals title match

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Elena Rybakina reached the title match on the WTA Finals for the primary time after beating Jessica Pegula 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 on the again of her massive serve within the semifinals Friday.

Prime-ranked Aryna Sabalenka performs Amanda Anisimova within the second semifinal later. That is a rematch of the US Open remaining.

Rybakina, the 2022 Wimbledon champion from Kazakhstan, has gained all 4 of her matches this week, advancing from the group stage for the primary time.
