Former South African quick bowler Morne Morkel has been named as the brand new bowling coach for the Indian cricket crew. The Board of Management for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Jay Shah confirmed the high-profile appointment of Morkel as India’s new bowling coach.
As reported by Cricbuzz, Morkel will start his tenure as Staff India’s new head coach on September 1, becoming a member of the Gautam Gambhir-headed teaching employees. Morkel, famend for his explosive tempo and strategic bowling, will convey a wealth of worldwide expertise to the Indian teaching setup.
