Leon Haslam aiming to “redeem myself” at Knockhill BSB

A podium within the last race on the Snetterton BSB got here after a weekend by which Leon Haslam stated he was “lacking a little bit little bit of tempo” from the start, however the 2018 champion is trying optimistically at this weekend’s race at Knockhill.

Haslam’s Snetterton podium was his first since taking victory in Race 2 at Oulton Park,

“Snetterton for me was the primary weekend the place we turned up and we had been lacking a little bit little bit of tempo as we had been battling a couple of little points that we had been struggling to get on prime of,” Haslam stated forward of the Knockhill BSB this weekend (4–6 July).

“The group labored very well and we managed to seek out the tempo and get a podium in that final race, so a giant credit score to the group, because it was the primary time that we had ran it the warmth and in addition at Snetterton for me on the Ducati, so it’s good that we might overcome these issues.”

Looking forward to Knockhill, Haslam added that he’s hoping to “redeem” himself on the Scottish circuit after coming away injured in 2024 after a crash in Race 3.

“In the previous couple of years at Knockhill I’ve had a little bit of a troublesome time, I’ve ended up with accidents there the previous couple of years.

“So, I need to redeem myself there because it has at all times been certainly one of my favorite circuits, so I’m excited to experience the Ducati there and assume we will hit the bottom operating.”
