Former Los Angeles prime prospect Diego Cartaya has signed a minor league take care of the San Francisco Giants, per MLB insider Daniel Alvarez-Montes.

On Monday, Cartaya posted an image of himself sporting a San Francisco Giants hat, hinting on the new signing.
Cartaya was a former prime prospect within the group, rating as excessive because the group’s No. 1 prospect in 2022 and ’23, per MLB Pipeline.
