West Indies pacer Alzarri Joseph misplaced his cool through the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024 match between the Saint Lucia Kings and the Guyana Amazon Warriors. Alzarri Joseph threw the ball in direction of the stumps despite the fact that the middle-order batter, Shimron Hetmyer, was contained in the crease.

Tim Robinson (33) and Rahmanullah Gurbaz (47) fashioned a robust 62-run opening partnership. Gurbaz then added 29 runs with Shai Hope (11). Shimron Hetmyer and Keemo Paul completed the chase in 10 overs. Noor Ahmad took three wickets for the Saint Lucia Kings, and Alzarri Joseph picked up one.
Extraordinarily Disappointing – Faf du Plessis
After the match, Saint Lucia Kings captain Faf du Plessis expressed his disappointment and added that the circumstances had been difficult. He mentioned that 100 runs was inadequate and troublesome to defend. Du Plessis admitted that they should reevaluate crew methods.
