UFC 318 weigh-in results: Dustin Poirier successfully makes weight for final fight

Dustin Poirier was first to the size for the final struggle of his storied profession.

“The Diamond” kickstarted Friday’s official morning weigh-ins for UFC 318, coming in at 156 kilos to arrange his trilogy bout with Max Holloway. Although Holloway’s “BMF” championship is on the road within the five-round contest, it isn’t a standard championship belt and thus each fighters have been allowed the one-pound allowance for a non-title struggle

Holloway efficiently weighed in at 155 kilos.

All 28 fighters competing Saturday appeared to have little difficulty with the size, with solely Robert Valentin needing to utilize the field to strip behind it and make weight.

Paulo Costa was the second-last fighter to weigh in, however he hit the mark at 185 kilos as did opponent Roman Kopylov.

UFC 318 takes place at Smoothie King Heart in New Orleans on Saturday, with the primary card airing dwell on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
