England and Sale Sharks ahead Jonny Hill has been banned for 10 weeks, 4 of that are suspended, after an altercation with a fan, the Rugby Soccer Union (RFU) stated on Tuesday.

Hill appeared earlier than an impartial disciplinary panel on Monday, the RFU stated in a press release, for having allegedly bodily abused a spectator within the aftermath of the match between Bathtub and Sale on the Recreation Floor on June 1.

Hill, 30, accepted the cost, the RFU added.

“The panel concluded the suitable place to begin was a 20-week suspension from enjoying,” Panel Chair Philip Evans stated.
